چکیده

Abstract Mission-critical IEC 61850 system architectures are designed to tolerate hardware failures achieve the highest reliability performance. Hence, multi-channel systems used in such within industrial facilities isolate machinery when there process abnormalities. Inevitably, introduce Common Cause Failure (CCF) since subsystems can rarely be independent. This paper integrates CCF into Markov model enhance flexibility investigate synchronous generator intra-bay SCN architecture performance considering quality of repairs and CCF. The enables integration impact factors on case study results indicate that CCF, coupled with imperfect repairs, significantly reduce High sensitivity is observed at low levels whereas level occurs diagnostic coverage 99% based ISO 13849-1, reduces as reduces. Therefore, it concluded severity depends more than repair efficiency, although both overall should considered determining mission-critical communication networks power distribution centres.
